Four hand printed, high quality posters are produced by Aquarelle Publishing, sponsored by the Victoria and Albert Museum. The posters have been produced since the late 90s from original Stölzl Bauhaus designs in the collection of the V&A Museum, London.

From the Aquarelle web site:
"One of the most innovative weavers of the 20th century, Stölzl was a key figure at the Bauhaus for almost twelve years, from 1919 - 1931. Under her directorship the Bauhaus weaving workshop developed into a modern laboratory for textile designers geared to the teaching of every stage of the industrial process. Simultaneously, she produced single pieces of wall hangings and carpets that have become icons of modernism. In them she explored in textile the subtle tonal shifts of colours, lines and modified repetition that the Bauhaus painter Paul Klee, whom Stölzl remembered as a great teacher, explored in his abstract paintings. Her stunning textile designs on paper at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, testify to the same artistic intentions as her wall hangings and are exquisite works of art in themselves."
